DSIP 5 mg — Research Consultation

DSIP (Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide) is a nine-amino-acid neuropeptide isolated in the 1970s from rabbit cerebral venous blood during electrically-induced sleep states. Published research describes effects on delta-wave EEG activity, ACTH release, and circadian-rhythm modulation in animal-research and limited human-research contexts.

What DSIP is

DSIP (Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu) is a small endogenous neuropeptide originally extracted from cerebral venous blood of rabbits during stimulated sleep. The peptide is now produced synthetically for research use. The mechanism of action is incompletely characterised — no high-affinity DSIP receptor has been definitively identified.

What the published literature covers

Published animal-research describes DSIP effects on delta-wave EEG activity, modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (including ACTH release), and stress-response endpoints. Human-research is limited — a small number of clinical-research papers describe effects on chronic-pain models and stress-related disorders, but the evidence base is modest compared to mainstream research peptides.

Quality verification

Lyophilised DSIP manufactured under ICH Q7 GMP standards. Independent HPLC verification at a US-based third-party laboratory, ≥98% peak-area purity. COA available through the in-chat consultation.

Common research questions

Is DSIP legal in the UAE?
DSIP is classified as a research compound in the UAE and is sold through standard wellness-supply channels with VAT compliance applied to every dispatch.
What dose ranges does the published research describe?
Published animal-research doses range from 25 to 100 nmol/kg. In the grey-research community, subcutaneous protocols of 100-500 mcg administered in the evening are common. The published human-research evidence base is too limited to support a consensus protocol.
Is there a well-characterised receptor?
No. Despite its name, no high-affinity DSIP receptor has been definitively identified in the published literature. This makes mechanistic interpretation of DSIP research more difficult than for peptides with clear receptor targets.
How is purity verified?
HPLC peak-area purity (≥98%) at a US-based third-party laboratory. COA available through the chat.
Shelf life and storage?
Lyophilised powder is ambient-temperature stable in transit; -20°C long-term storage; refrigerated post-reconstitution per the supplied protocol.
How fast is delivery in the UAE?
Same-day delivery within Dubai, next-business-day across the rest of the UAE.
